Best baby eczema creams for 2020

As many as one in five babies can suffer with eczema, a skin condition that causes red, scaly skin.

According to the NHS, the symptoms of eczema include “patches of red, dry and itchy skin on the face or behind the ears, and in the creases of the neck, knees and elbows”.

Most babies will grow out of eczema but, in the meantime, the best baby eczema cream will reduce redness and inflammation, relieving itching and soothe sore skin.

For more serious cases, you may need to get prescription topical medications, but there are a number of creams you can buy over the counter to treat milder flare ups.

Always be sure to talk to your GP before starting with new creams on your baby.
