When dating someone new, it can take a little while to feel comfortable around them.
It’s easy to get nervous about doing something to embarrass yourself – and you might even try and pretend to be something you’re not.
One woman has recently admitted that she’s trying to make a great impression on her new man, but there’s one problem.
Writing in to The Sun’s Ask Chloe advice column, the unnamed lady confessed that she’s afraid to go for a poop when her boyfriend is at her house – and he’s been staying over a lot recently.
Instead of using her loo, she claims to have been sneaking out to use the facilities at a nearby McDonald’s.
Her letter read: “I’ve been seeing a bloke for a couple of months and so far I’ve avoided doing number twos in front of him. But it is getting impossible!
“He’s sleeping over more and more and I don’t know what to do.
“I can’t keep running off to the local McDonald’s or pub (especially now they are closing at 10pm).”
She continued to say that she had spoken to her pals about it and they’d advised her to just “embrace it” but she was too nervous.
The whole situation left her feeling incredibly “awkward” and unsure of what to do next.
Agony aunt Chloe Madeley encouraged the woman to listen to her podcast Couples Quarantine, Episode 2, Bathroom Dilemmas, an episode in which she and her husband discuss the topic of the toilet at length.
“Going to the loo is a fact of life, plain and simple.
“You are not a plastic Barbie doll and I highly doubt he is Zac Efron, so the time is upon you, I’m afraid.”
