If you’re single right now, or have been since 2012, it’s possible that you’ve been on Tinder.
And if you have ended up on there, or any of the other major dating apps, you’ll know that there are some very demanding people out there.
On TikTok, one of these individuals, called Stephen, has come under attention after a woman rated his unusual profile.
Instead of featuring facts about him, the bio features a list of features he is looking for in a woman.
The Tiktok star called Clara, who lives in Miami, shared his list of key requirements featured on his dating profile, which people branded “audacious.”
His list rules much of the population out, leaving people to conclude that he might be single for a long time.
Stephen’s key requirements excludes all single mothers, and the 32-year-old says the woman must not weigh more than 10 stone.
He also requires that they aren’t pansexual and they must have a phone on contract with unlimited data.
The list also states that the woman doesn’t rely on the ‘Department of Health and Social’ which is now known as the Department of Work and Pensions.
His list of key requirements has already ruled out great swathes of the population – who might not be too upset as it appears Stephen has a very strict criteria.
But it emerges that Stephen has even more requirements – including “no homecare, no essential oils/skinny coffee.”
He also doesn’t want to date someone that posts pictures of bathbombs on their Instagram story, so Lush fans should look away.
The woman should ideally have no debt, unless it is because they own a house, and shouldn’t be be posting motivational quotes on their timeline.
At the end, the man advises that he gets a “high volume” of messages and warns that he might not reply.
The post went viral, racking up more than 1.1million views and 308,000 likes.
Many people agreed that it was a very demanding profile and that they didn’t meet his requirements,
One person joked: “Who’s he tryna attract???? Bill Gates???”
Another said: “Things Stephen has to offer: the audacity.”
A third added: “He wants a plant. He needs to go to store and buy a cactus. That’s it, nothing more. Why is he even on Tinder if everything is annoying for him?”
A fourth joked: “This is so demanding. I’m exhausted.”
Some people were confused by Stephen’s interests, which include Love Island, spirituality, narrowboating and dancing.
One person asked: “And he puts spirituality in his bio WHAT”
Another person joked: “Not him with all the requirements in his bio and Love Island in the interests.”
Many were convinced that his profile is a joke – with one comment warning: “This is literally satire haha, why do Americans never understand this.”
Another wrote: “This cannot be real!!”
