Monopoly, one of the world’s most iconic board games, has been given a festive twist with one of our favourite Christmas films – Elf.
Manufacturer USAopoly has released a new Elf Monopoly just in time for the 2020 festive season – and we’re totally here for it.
The family-friendly game features renamed iconic characters, locations, and quotes from the much-loved Christmas film. The houses are renamed Apartments, Hotels renamed Skyscrapers, Community Chest Cards renamed Christmas Cheer and Chance Cards renamed Christmas Spirit.
There are also six custom player tokens that include Santa’s Sleigh, Polar Bear Cub, Jack-in-the-Box, Mailroom Coffee Mug, Santa’s Bag, Maple Syrup.
Players are invited to “Buy, sell, and trade your way to Christmas Cheer and Christmas Spirit to be the last one standing in this collectible version of Monopoly”.
At the moment you can only order the new Elf Monopoly on Amazon for $39.88, but it is currently out of stock. It is also being sold directly from the USAopoly website, but only within the US.
If you’re looking for fun alternatives that are available in the UK, the Monopoly store on the Amazon UK site includes Super Mario, Star Wars and Frozen 2 special editions.
There are also plenty of top rated toys featured in Amazon’s top 12 list for 2020.
The collection of gifts includes L.O.L. Surprise! OMG Remix Plane for £89.99, Mattel Games Uno Showdown for £14.99 and for Star Wars fans an adorable Star Wars The Child Animatronic Edition “AKA Baby Yoda” for £59.99.

“The joy of being with friends and family, in person or virtually, will be the greatest gift of all, and we’re predicting that the bestselling toys will be those that can bring people together. No matter the celebration, we are making a big effort to deliver smiles and make Christmas extra special.”
